GreenWorks 25022 Lawn Mower Review.

I found the GreenWorks 25022 12 Amp Corded 20-Inch Lawn Mower  to be far more robust in build quality and design. It adjusts up and down easily (with a knobbed metal handle just like a tractor) and has a lower setting. No more lifting the bag sideways to clear the mower's handle. It comes right out and up through the handle bars. Watch out for the tightly sprung chute cover.
Features And Specifications:

  • 12 Amp Electric Motor delivers enough power to cut through the toughest grass
  • Durable steel 20-Inch cutting deck gets the job done quicker and more efficiently
  • 3-in-1 feature provides multiple options for grass clippings from rear bagging, side discharge and mulching capabilities for versatile needs
  • 7 position height adjustment offers a range of cutting height from 1 1/2-Inch to 3 3/4-Inch for the perfect cut on all grass types
  • Wide 10-Inch rear wheels and 7-Inch front wheels
 The cut is perfect leaving hardly any clean up. It mows closer to the edges of the flower beds. I'm happy to say this mower can be pushed with one hand if necessary. It may be just my imagination but the Greenworks seems a little quiter. The paint job is very cool as well.

I used this mower on an empty, wild,neglected lot that the city mows over with a tractor and attachment(the lot is now mine) and the GreenWorks mower performed like a champ!
The grass was very tall with even taller wild weeds, chunks of woods and sticks, and other debris and I mowed over it all no problem. I picked up the yard ahead of time but didn't get everything so I was real rough on it. I feel like I took this mower to the limit and it did the job no problem.
Cord management was no problem at all my first time. I plugged it into a North wall. Then I mowed East to West starting closest to my power source and then mowing away.

Best thing of all (which there are a lot, low noise level being one) starting it up is a breeze. Hold in a button and close the handle and it starts right up. Let go, start it up in a second, On, off, on, off. No more tugging and priming and dealing with a gas mower that is hard to start. Just on, off, on, off, it's so easy!
I highly recommend this mower. It is well built, metal, and performs excellently.

I'm amazed at how well this mower works even on high grass and very uneven ground. This mower is lightweight but a real workhorse, making it easy to mow an acre of extremely difficult terrain.

Pros;
 1) It is light. After dealing with a 21 inch gas mower, this is like a feather. Point for me.
2) You can change the height with one finger. I don't often change the height of my mowers, low enough to nearly kill the grass is my normal height, but when she wants to make things look pretty, she can do so easily. Point me again.
3) It is quiet. Once again, coming from a gas mower, this is like listening to rabbit farts. There's no sound and you just feel a little air moving. It also smells better, but that's another story. I'm on a roll.
4) The bag is easy to put on and take off. Sometimes dealing with bags can be a pain, but this one is just easy to get on and off. No points, as we don't bag anything anyway.

Cons;
Of course, there is a big negative.
1) The cord is like a cat, it is ALWAYS underfoot no matter what you do. Maybe if we had a nice rectangular lawn there could be a nice system to use, but since we don't, it is a pain. That being said, it's electric, and the cord comes with that, so while this is a negative, it is pretty much a given that it was going to be an issue. I lose a point or 2, but I still come out ahead.

Ultimately this is a great mower if you want something quiet, easy to use, and won't break your back moving from place to place. Get it to save the world, or just your sanity.

Tips to get the best out of your lawn mower:
1. Rub some (used or new) motor oil on the underside of the mower so that the grass clippings will not stick and accumulate in the underside...and therefore giving you a better cut. 2. Sharpen the blade. It was helpful to view videos on sharpening knives. 3. Do not hose down your mower to clean it, you will have to re-lubricate some areas if you do. 4. Do not cut more than 1/3 of your grass blade at a time. 5. Use a 14 gauge extension cord. 6. Mow away from the outlet.

I found 1,074 customer reviews on Amazon at the time of writing and they had awarded the GreenWorks 25022 12 Amp Corded 20-Inch Lawn Mower, 4.3 stars out of a possible 5.0 stars on average.
  Overall, the GreenWorks 25022 12 Amp Corded 20-Inch LawnMower  is a well thought out design and made from high quality materials. It should last a long time. Don't hesitate to get this little powerhouse. I really like the fact I can use electricity and NOT gas, that it does the work, and that it's easy to corner and turn.
